On the occasion of the Serpentine Pavilion 2018, Aesop partnered with the Serpentine Galleries to explore the architectural design by Frida Escobedo.
To help promote the event, we filmed an interview with Frida on location at the Pavilion discussing the inspiration behind the project.
Leveraging Aesop’s online literary publication, The Fabulist, we commissioned Zadie Smith, Rachel Kushner, Valeria Luiselli and Geoff Dyer to contribute essays pertaining to the themes of architecture, structure, space and the senses
Essays featured on Aesop.com and printed as booklets distributed at the Pavilion Galleries and in-store locally and globally throughout Summer. The campaign was supported through both Serpentine Galleries’ and Aesop’s digital and social channels; launching Aesop’s first ever Instagram stories.
